The Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader is offering QR Codes to advertisers for three of their upcoming tourist publications: The Getaway Guide, the Coastal Cuisine and a tri-fold restaurant brochure directory.
Last week, a QR Code was published on the front page of the weekly newspaper to introduce the community to the smartphone technology. 2D codes will be used in the future to link digital content (video, photo slideshows, music, etc) to editorial content in the print edition. http://ptleader.com/ftp/PDF/QRCodes.pdf (PDF)
