What is Blue Clover doing at SXSW with QR codes?

I'll start with the client that we are doing the most for, and that's Citrix. Citrix is the maker of Go To Meeting software. Blue Clover came up with the strategy for how we would integrate the QR codes and mobile friendly microsites. We came up with an episodic strategy, so that every day people scan the QR codes they see something different. We are trying to encourage offline word of mouth. People will scan one day, and they'll be invited to go to a breakfast party. They scan it another day and they get a free trial at Go To Meeting. We produced the Revive and Survive breakfast yesterday morning. We served about 1,000 tacos that all had a QR code on them. The important take away is that Citrix has a great team here but they are trying to host events that bring 200 to 300 people, along with a larger audience of 14,000 to 15,000 people at, and around, the convention center.
