The city of Sioux Falls is using a new method to make it easier for the public to access information about proposed projects.
The codes also are used by businesses to provide customers with instant information about promotions, services and products. City officials see a potential for wider use of the codes in providing information for various departments such as transit, health and parks and recreation.
As a city councilor, Brown said he's happy to see the city using the codes as well because it is challenging to get information out to neighborhoods regarding proposed projects.
