Is it any good?
It's fantastic. A smart, entertaining trip to the theater; unfortunately it will get blown out of the summer box office by movies half as original. This one is a window into filmmaking we rarely get to see. And as it unravels, the genius of Spurlock's idea to even attempt this project becomes clear, while the executives who turn him down along the way look dumb and dumber.
Who will like it?
Anyone who enjoys enlightening themselves at a movie. It's not exactly a "date" movie, but if you can convince yourself to take the plunge you'll likely get wrapped up in its original premise. It does all it can to entertain, too.
