Dave Dahl wants everyone to know right up front – he’s not a murderer. @killerbreadman

Now his bread is a different story – it is, after all, Dave’s Killer Bread.

The name came about almost by accident, he says.

“When I was growing up, the word killer meant great. My first bread was called Blues Bread, and the second was called Killer Bread, and the name started sticking,” Dahl says.

Then Dave and his brother Glenn, who is the president of NatureBake/Dave’s Killer Bread, decided to put the story of Dave’s criminal past and redemption on the back of the bread label, as a sort of marketing tool.
