What the Tech? #QR Codes In The News Herald

QR codes have already been utilized in mainstream print advertising, and the News Herald is developing its own plan under the KNH Marketing banner.

“We haven’t presented it to advertisers yet. What it can do for advertisers is the same thing it does for us – it can lead a select group of customers to a desired Web site,” Woodall said. “If you do a good job with your site, you’re going to interest your consumers with the products you have to offer.”

The News Herald is kicking off its QR campaign with a CODeZ contest, in this week’s addition. Participants can download one of dozens of QR readers through their mobile app store and scan the CODeZ on the front page to find out how to win one of three prizes, valued from $10 to $80. Read More
