Conway City Hall Planner Bryan Patrick papered the hallway with a collection of QR codes.
Patrick said he found the trick to creating QR codes online, and it took him about an hour to create the show, consisting of 40 or more 8 1/2 by 11 pieces of copy paper attached randomly with map tacks to the display areas. The exhibit reaches from the Front Street entrance all the way to the Mayor’s office.
QR stands for “quick read,” and while it’s become a marketing device, mostly sending the reader to a web site, it’s also wiggled its way into the arts.
Patrick embedded famous and not-so-famous quotes in his display. Some are enlightening; some are just plain funny.
