Back in November last year, City Harvest has reached out to potential donors via an innovative advertising campaign through the use of QR code technology. QR codes were incorporated in City Harvest’s print advertisements, phone kiosks, transit shelters, and even on Facebook. It functions like a barcode that can be scanned by a dedicated QR Barcode reader and mobile phones.
