POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold
Journal Star Grade: B+

While unveiling the ins and outs of product placement, Spurlock also talks to some experts, some movie makers and some regular folks. The experts include Ralph Nader, Noam Chomsky and savvy branding and marketing types; the movie makers include directors Peter Berg, J.J. Abrams, Brett Ratner and Quentin Tarantino.

All of this, of course, is presented with Spurlock's regular-guy satiric sense of humor, which makes "The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" a rarity: a truly funny documentary with some laugh-out-loud moments.

But the movie isn't just a goof. Some dead-on observations are more than a little chilling, most notably when Spurlock undergoes an MRI while being bombarded with images that are put together to make movie trailers, using neuroscience to create the most effective clip to lure audiences into theaters.
