#QR codes and Microsoft Tags can boost your bottom line

Coca-Cola and Ball Corporation, a supplier of rigid metal packaging products and services to the beverage and food industries, have jointly introduced 25cl Coca-Cola cans with Quick Response (QR) code.


According to the company, when consumer scans QR code printed on the can using smart phone camera, it will take him directly to an Online 'Coke Music Portal'.

QR codes cans provide product information to consumers at point of sale or actual use, such as user instructions, nutritional content storage conditions and provenance.

The company claims that, in terms of QR codes, Coca-Cola is the first company to join forces with Ball to launch this new technology.
