What Every Seller Needs to Know about #QR Codes

The possibilities are endless for the QR Code. We currently print and affix a label on the shipping box of every purchase from our website. This label displays our Company Logo, Phone Number, Website, a short message and our QR Code.

We do put a call to action just under the barcode, it says "Scan barcode using your Smart Phone," otherwise the recipient may not know to do so since the technology is so new, at least at the consumer level.

That information takes most of the space on the 4"x6" label. It can be difficult to decide which information should be put on any marketing piece. But with the QR Code, we now can fit much more in the same space. When the recipient of the package scans our QR Code, they now see:

The web addresses in the code are clickable and will load the URL on the user's phone. The phone number also can be made clickable and will dial the number, rather than the customer having to type in the phone number. This will make it much more convenient for your customers to contact you, either by visiting your website or by phone.

We plan on creating product specific QR Codes that can be attached to the outer packaging of any given product. The code could contain information about the product, or link directly to an information page about that product, or to a Youtube video showing the product in use or how to assemble the product.
