Wells Fargo connects @killerbreadman w/ Loaves & Fishes Centers, resulting in $137,000 annual donation to help feed seniors

It was a match made in leaven.

Actually it was at Wells Fargo’s suite in the Rose Garden Arena last fall where Wells Fargo connected the nonprofit Loaves & Fishes Centers group with Dave’s Killer Bread company of Milwaukie. As a result, the group is now receiving between $137,000 and $171,000 worth of free bread annually from the bakery to feed low-income seniors.

Tawnie Nelson, Wells Fargo’s regional Small Business Banking manager, volunteers on the board of Loaves & Fishes Centers, which serves 5,000 meals daily to seniors in the greater metropolitan area.
