SANYO Electric Co.,Ltd. Global | News Release | SANYO Presents the Portable "eneloop" USB Charger Set: "Tokyo, April 18, 2007----SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (SANYO), the world leader in rechargeable batteries, announced a new 'eneloop' series product, the 'eneloop' USB charger set (including two AA size 'eneloop' batteries). The USB charger is able to charge two 'eneloop' batteries using a USB connector.
'eneloop' is a concept based on recycling, or looping, energy. The first product in a series that embodies this concept is SANYO's 'eneloop' battery, a battery which proposes a lifestyle where batteries can be used repeatedly. These batteries can be immediately used out-of-the-package following purchase, be recharged and used for approximately 1,000 times*2, and be recycled after being completely used. In addition, as the first product realizing SANYO's 'Think GAIA' vision, the 'eneloop' battery has been very popular in the market and the total shipment amount has reached approximately 24 million units (as of March, 2007) since its release in November 2005."

One great feature of the camcorder is its revolutionary flip screen that can be rotated to create the familiar Gameboy shape, complete with a video game toggle dial, that lets users easily play 20 built-in full-color 2D or 3D video games the way they are used to playing them. Another unique feature is the ability to directly record video from TV, DVD players and VCRs to take and watch anywhere you go. Video files can be saved onto SD cards to be enjoyed later -- perfect for travel, vacations, and road trips.

i4U News Now On PodShow
After watching Geek Brief.tv and TeXtra on Podshow, I decided to open an account and see what was what. There appears to be a lot of audio podcasts and a sprinkling of video shows. At the moment, I'm having a hard time just deleting a photo in the gallery. Hmmm. I just had to add "/embed" code so the embedded video code would work....

Michael Kofman: Blogger At Virgin Mega Store, San Francisco

Michael Kofman at the San Francisco Virgin Mega Store Cafe
When Nikki Inderlied and I met for the first time in San Francisco to discuss the upcoming Game Developers Conference, blogger Michael Kofman sat next to us on the third floor of Virgin Mega Store Cafe.
This is what Michael wrote in his blog while we were there:
Later at Virgin Records cafe, I met up with Nikki Inderlied and Jack Olmsted from I4U News. I think Jack was helping Nikki, who was also here at GDC for the very first time. Anyways, after wraping up with some more Calculus, I'll head back out into the city and see what else I can fine.
Michael's blog post popped up on a google blogsearch. I think it is kind of cool that our ramdom meeting was documented by him (text) and by us (photo).
